Nail Ring with Ruby
This architectural nail ring is cast from an old floorboard nail in 925/000 recycled silver. The ring features a satin matte surface finish on top. However, the sides are left with a slightly more rugged texture reminiscent of the rusty pitted steel surface of the nail it was cast from.
A square cut ruby set in fine gold adds a touch of colour and warmth to this earnest piece of jewellery.
The ring carries the Edinburgh Assay Office hallmark and my maker’s mark.
The ring in the photograph is a size M (UK) (US 6 1/2, EU 52 1/2), but can be made to order in any size.
For this ring to be made to order in a different size please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery. If you would like your ring sooner or for a special occasion, please get in touch and I can hopefully make this happen.
Please note, each ring is cast and hand finished in my workshop. Due to the technique used the pattern and texture of each ring are unique and will vary from the photograph.
