Coburg House Open Studios

AN EXCLUSIVE, CHRISTMAS OPEN STUDIOS

DECEMBER 5TH/6TH + 12TH/13TH 2020

IT'S TIME TO OPEN OUR BIG RED SHUTTER AND INVITE YOU IN FOR OUR EXCLUSIVE CHRISTMAS OPEN STUDIOS EVENT.

We are really excited to welcome you back into the Studios to see what our artists and designers have been creating. This time we are going to open for two whole weekends!

This mini, pandemic-friendly version of our usual Open Studios event will be an exclusive twist on our usual jam-packed affair.

The studios are still stuffed with amazing art, jewellery, textiles, ceramics and more, but in order to keep everybody safe, we won’t be packed with people.

Some of the changes we have put in place to allow you to browse and shop in a safe environment include extremely reduced visitor numbers; (no fighting the Coburg Crowds this time) partial opening of the building only, to allow a safe, one-way system; card payments available in all studios; helpful signage around the building to encourage safe social distancing; and we insist that face coverings be worn at all times. We will also have hand sanitising stations available at frequent intervals on your journey through the studios.

As always, entry is free. We do need you to book a time slot so we can maintain safe visitor numbers. Our time slots allocate each of you an hour to make your way round the studios, which should be ample time as we only have two floors open rather than our usual four.

It’s imperative you arrive within your allocated time slot to allow us to stagger entry and maintain safe social distancing. It is possible we may have a couple of walk-in slots available, but you will need to wait and we absolutely cannot guarantee we will be able to get you in, so we recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Your time slot will be on the half hour, and we do ask that you please bear with us if we need to request you to wait a little bit at the door. We are doing everything in our power to keep numbers safe and allow space for social distancing. PLEASE NOTE WE CLOSE AT 5PM SO IF YOU BOOK A SLOT AFTER 4PM YOUR VISIT TIME WILL BE SHORTER.

Spaces for this event are extremely limited, so if for any reason you are unable to make your time slot, please cancel your booking or let us know, so we can make it available to one of the bookings on our waiting list.

There will be 22 studios open and over 50 artists and designers taking part in this Exclusive Event. Details of who is taking part and where you can find them (as they might be in a different studio this time) can be found on our map, just tap on the image to make this bigger/save it. We would also advise you to follow our artists on social media as there will be snippets of what you can expect to see on show when you arrive.

If you have any questions or need to amend your booking please email us at info@coburghouse.co.uk.
